Job Description:

USA Based Product Company, engaged in research and development; looking for talented people to design, develop and deploy high quality software components for their camera systems. They are building cutting edge softwares as a part of our human vision and machine vision platform which includes core competent technologies like robotics, deep learning, artificial intelligence, computer vision and computational photography.

Basic Function of the Job:

    • The identification and/or generation of all documentation related to the integration of new products into
      the production environment.
    • Perform analysis of part design characteristics, specifications and tolerances of parts, manufacturing
      process design, set up and tooling.
    • Identification of subsequent changes to manufacturing and assembly drawings as necessary.
    • Optimisation of processes to meet objectives of lowering cost and/or improving productivity.
    • Providing assistance in the assembly and maintenance of engineering and other technical files.
    • Actively promote process improvement to ensure compliance to industry standards and regulations and
      to secure the future business position in the marketplace.
    • Attend meetings and contribute to project/production design review.
    • To Track daily production activities ( prepare reports such as yield, IQC, IPQC and OQC)
    • Evaluate and implement new processes for next generation Front End operations to expand process
      capabilities with the ultimate goal to enable new product development activities.
    • Explore outside the boundaries of conventional Front End processing.
    • Knowledge in machining of plastic, optical , metal and semiconductor materials and expected to be the
      subject matter expert, continuously monitoring the current trends in the field of machining of plastics,
      semiconductors, metals , optical parts and ceramic materials.
    • To Perform Supplier Qualifications (metal, plastic and electronics) carry out meaningful DOE style
      experiments arriving at sound results with production scalable process development paths, whether it is
      a completely new or extension of currently used processes.
    • Review process procedures and interact with production personnel to identify opportunities for further
      improvements leading the efforts by hands on participation in the projects for such improvement effort.
    • Provide support to FA and problem solving in regards to customer complaints in the area of his or her
      subject matter expertise.

Education:

  • Any Mechanical or Mechatronics or Materials Science Engineering degree

Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years applicable experience in assembly and process engineering role
  • Understanding of Engineering drawings and Manufacturing techniques.
